Triathlon- my newest sport crush. 🩵

I did my second triathlon last June - back home at my home town. Was faster than last time...ended up 12th of ~50, 2nd my age group...and run my lungs off in the tropical heat that day.

But best thing was to see some old mates again by conincidence like @jonidong and to see my parents cheering and supporting. Simply like these atmosphere of the triathlon family.

This event is always worth driving home 😉

@tenerifewindsurfworldcup is over and I ended up in 13th position of 23 girls competing. Not too bad considering that I have a more than fulltime job. But I also know that I could have done better. Well....that is competition. I think I had 1 or 2 pretty okayish heats, finally showed a ok forward in a heat and had some good waves.

Thanks a lot for organizing this event @danybruch and for the live stream @aalvaamedia - loved the drone shots.

Now, a bit of freesailing before heading home.

Pretty happy with my sailing today. Conditions were pretty fun and I enjoyed sailing with @lisa_kloster @sybille.bode and @lizzy_e247 in our first heat having the spot for ourselves this morning. 🩵
Could not find bigger waves in my second heat, but still happy.
9th place right now - feels good.

Happy to see young rippers like @lizzy_e247 coming up and liked to watch @pauline__katz @linaerpenstein and @maria_g209 shredding. 🩵
