With the Ultimate 2.6, we present the latest generation of our race machine—optimized for maximum performance in competitive racing. Years of experience from our national and international riders have been fully incorporated, along with valuable feedback from international competitions. The result is a refined sail built to perform in all race-day conditions—whether slalom or speed.
Explosive acceleration, maximum speed, and optimal control
The Ultimate 2.6 delivers power on every course, impressing with explosive acceleration off the start line and out of gybes.
For 2026, our development team placed special focus on the sail’s vertical balance. By increasing the surface area below the boom and narrowing the top, the center of effort has been shifted downward—resulting in improved early planing and greater control.
Smooth sail and camber rotation ensure seamless maneuvers, while the sail remains powerful and responsive even in dropping winds.
Optimizations for 2026:
- New high-aspect outline with more surface area below the boom and a slimmer top for increased acceleration and better control in gusts
- Optimized profile in the boom area for faster acceleration and earlier top speed
- New three-piece batten setup stabilizes the center of effort and enhances control in gusty conditions
- Slimmer outline with a shorter cross batten for faster rotation and clean profile transition
- Thinner X-Ply in the mast sleeve reduces weight and improves profile flexibility
- X-Ply in the upper sail area for a more direct feel and reduced weight
- Optimized leech configuration for improved aerodynamics and stronger acceleration
- Lower center of effort for better handling and reduced fatigue during long race days
