Last Saturday we welcomed a bunch of people for a seminar in our Loft in Hamburg.

Topics like material selection, design, cutting and taping of the first layers were explained in detail. Questions like how do we get the profile into the sail have been answered and at the end we showed the different options in rigging to get the best out of your sails. It was very nice to see that people are really interested in our handcraft as sailmakers. The group contacted us via Facebook and we thought it is a good idea to come together. In our Loft we mainly do design work and produce prototypes for testing or adapt serial production sails coming from our factory in Sri Lanka.

It was definetly something different for us and it was great to see that there is much interest in our sport and the industry behind.
